(Welcome to Laggan)
Welcome to the web page of Laggan Stores Coffee Bothy & Wayfarer’s Rest! Open 8:30 am-ish to 6 pm, Monday to Saturday for the summer. You can reach us at 01528 544 257.
Laggan Stores Coffee Bothy has open its doors to all who live in and wander about in these Scottish Highlands. Come on in and give us a nosey and find a place to sit and rest, find good food with less wear and tear, and find a great place to have a wee blether (a good talk) over a hot cuppa in the heart of our Scottish highland community! So come on in and do be welcome with highland heart and let us serve you the best we can. For the many who have come and enjoyed this space thus far . . . haste ye back! =]
Our coffee bothy (house/hut) currently is doing all our coffee, tea, and home-made hot chocolate drinks as well as hearty soups and wholemeal sandwiches, savoury bacon rolls, and rich home baking as well! We are yet gearing up for rolling out our delicious home-made ice creams and rounding out our menu with further extras as time goes on.
Our stores are expanding after a major “re-boot”. We are now carrying some fruit and veggies with still the good basics: milk, cheeses, fresh local eggs, home-made wholemeal bread, tinned goods, snacks and cold drinks, etc.. Of course we are still providing Calore gas, wood, coal, and kindling too. Not to mention the local news sources and information for guest to our beautiful area.

Above our stores & bothy we desire to provide the ardent adventurer and the weary wanderer a very warm welcome at our refreshing holiday flat & retreat – Wayfarer’s Rest.
Wayfarer’s Rest is a wonderfully renovated 2 bedroom flat which sleeps 5 easily and is a well suited place to be when you need to rest from the regular rush of daily living or if you need a place to sojourn on your highland adventures to explore Scotland’s hauntingly beautiful highlands.
Please check the availability at the booking calendar.
